The Samford Stogies Racing Team is based out of Birmingham, Alabama. The team approaches the activity of running from the point of view that it is a challenge and they attempt to make this challenge harder while having fun with it at the same time. They compete in races running with cigars and gather every February for their main event in the Mercedes Marathon in Birmingham, Alabama.
