1. Introductions

  • New Event Hosts Gary Robbins and Geoffrey Palmer introduced themselves to group. Discussed what we can do to help one another host fun, safe and successful events.
  • Discussion on how should we communicate thoughts and suggestions between face-to-face meetings? How can we accommodate those EHs who can not participate in a face-to-face meeting?
  • The new website is seen as a good tool to communicate with each other. Sibylle pointed out that there is a forum and she will create an Event Host Forum available exclusively for Event Hosts.

2. New Website

New interactive features like the forums, ability for users to post stories and comments, upload photos are a great community builder. Some EHs even created their own websites!
  • What do you dislike?
    - How the site looks in different browsers, especially on Microsoft Internet Explorer and on differently sized screens. Some pages show a blank space in the main body and users need to scroll down to see content, photos “push
