Dear Fellow Club Fat Ass runners !
First, many
thanks for your interest in our upcoming "Run to the Clouds" event.
Although we still will be doing some good climbing (for the runners doing the
full 25 km) we may not have to be running into the clouds as tomorrow's weather
is calling for sunny with cloudy periods. No rain on us hopefully... As it
is supposed to be back to rain by Sunday, lets sneak in a good run tomorrow
OK.
Route update: Because of the lake level of Buntzen over the past month or
two (which has been very high) they have temporarily closed the floating bridge
across the lower or south end of the lake. I knew this may happen so I
have a back up route plan in place. This new route has
been re-measured and with the additional mileage added near the start
around the south end of the lake, it has allowed us to remove the short out and
back at the top of the route, thus making it more interesting anyway.
I had all this
(supposedly) saved on my computer at home and ready to send to the CFA site so
everyone could review the route ahead of time, but something went drastically
wrong and all the work was lost. I'll try to re-enter it tonight and will
go over the new route changes and have some route info printed off and available
in the morning. Sorry for this last second left curve... but don't worry.
The route is pretty clear and there is a few of us local CFA runners around
that know the route etc.
See you all tomorrow, run starts at 10:00 am.
please be there a little early to sign in and use the washrooms etc.

Ps Oh yeah, the lake is clear and cold if
anyone feels up to a dip following their run. Yeowwwww.
