Club Fat Ass is a grassroots sports club with a worldwide vision. Our members host running, triathlon, cycling and other "active lifestyle" events for fellow members. Club events are fun, physically challenging, environmentally friendly and emphasize camaraderie as much as competition. Each event is a reflection of the unique personality of the Event Host. All Club events are free to Club members. Membership is open to anyone who enjoys playing outdoors.

Perfect timing for a 30 km, right smack dab in the middle between
Kneeknacker and STORMY. This is a good STORMY training run or just a
good opportunity to get a 30 km (or less) training run in with friends.

Lovely evening for a night run! Been having some ITB issues since May after trying new trail shoes, but it's been resolving ever since I made the switch back to road runners during the Van 100. Does anyone need a size 9 Brooks Cascadia? Can't use them anymore, and they're still in great shape!! (I'm serious)
Because of a sudden and persistent Achilles Tendon injury I have not been able to run for the last 2 month. Have gingerly tested the waters a few times, but since I did not want to make this another chronic injury, I did not push very hard (not difficult to do as it feels like the tendon is going to tear when I am running more than 10m).
Well, it's time for another 100 mile race!! This is the second in the grand slam series that Gilles was supposed to be doing this year. We all know what happened to Western States. So, instead he will continue with the other grand slam races and a few others for good measure.
