What?
- a day to remember our friend and club member Mary Leliveld
- two events: Emphasis on camaraderie rather than competition. We would like to see this be a group outing where we celebrate the life of a friend who can't join us.
- group hike and lunch up Lynn Peak; challenging ascent to breathtaking views
- gentle run on Varley Trail and around Rice Lake followed by a potluck dinner and post-hike party. Non runners are welcome to join in!
- A fundraiser for a bursary in Mary's name
When and Where?
- Sunday, 25 July 2010 (close to Mary's Birthday) 10:00 hike (meet at 9:30) and 16:00 run
- Start / finish for both the run and the hike at 4465 Underwood Ave in North Vancouver, BC, CANADA

How Much?
- free for members of Club Fat Ass (check out member benefits and fees here)
- Club Fat Ass and Chris, the Event Host, will donate all online credit card and cash single-day membership fees to the Tri BC bursary fund in Mary's name.
- Donations above your membership fee are encouraged and can be deposited in a special bowl at the pot luck dinner
- Please note, annual membership fees will not go to Mary's fund as they are needed to cover the cost of your club shirts and the club infrastructure. If you are an annual member, we encourage you to donate on the day of the event.
