...except when it's not :)
But seriously folks, it IS sunnier in Victoria! And windier, and we have bigger waves. And our trails are really cool! Come find out at this year's Spaghetti Trees run Saturday April 2, 2011. Also, our beer is better. You can find out more about that after the run...
New start time (noon) means people can get home to Vancouver without taking the last ferry of the day: a wonderful day-trip to Victoria, or plan on spending a night or two & making a weekend of it. ~13km or ~20km options, and for you crazy bikers, feel free to ride 30-65km along the Galloping Goose trail to the start. After-party at a 117-year-old pub that serves clam chowder in a sourdough bowl, yum yum.
Optional add-on for people staying 'til Sunday: teagirl will take you on a paddleboarding tour of the Inner Harbour (see the parliament buildings from a whole new viewpoint while avoiding the seaplanes... paddle up to Red Fish Blue Fish for the yummiest fish tacos ever; then over to the Flying Otter for a beer caesar (sounds weird but it's so good!!).
